If you want to give through our web-site select the "Give Now" button which is linked on all our pages. You can give to the "Great Commission Ministries" which is our Cuba Mission organization or to the "General Fund" to be used for Tithes and offering.
There is a place for "Memos" on the giving page that you can let us know what you intend the offerings to be used for.
"Faith Promise Missions" which is deposited into the WMU account does not have a drop down box to choose. If you want to include this in your online giving add it to the General Fund and then use the "Memo" to let me know the amount you want to go to Faith Promise. Use this just like you would the "Memo" line on your paper checks.
What do the account names mean?
General Fund; this is used for all funds to pay the bills of the church. This is where your titles go into.
Faith Promise Missions; this account is used by our WMU to send the support to the 10 missionaries we have around the world. The BBFI is the connector we use to send these funds each month to the missionaries.
If you want to give to "Faith Promise Missions" you will need to add the amount of that gift to your "General Fund" offering amount. On the "Memo" line on the giving form you would list something like this, "FPM $40.00" or "GF $60.00 FPM $40.00". This will allow me to place the monies given into the correct checking account.
Great Commission Ministries; This account is for Cuba Missions. If you give to Pastor Fiffie's church called 11th Baptist, this is the account you will need to use. If you are giving to support a pastor or missionary Bro.Larry Frisby this is the account to use also.
To give to multiple accounts you will select in the 1st drop down box the fund you want to give to, add the amount and the click on the 2nd drop down box. From there you can pick the other account and specify the amount.
You need to know that each fund you give to will be a sperate charge to whatever account you use to send your offering from. An example may look like;
GIV Great Commission (Date) (amount)
You will receive a receipt to the email address you have supplied.
Great Commission Ministries was the 1st account we set up for online giving so it seems that is the name used for all giving. Be assured that your offering will go into the fund you choose on the giving form.
You can set up a recurring gift by selecting the box on the form. You can select how often this recurs by selecting from the menu of choices. This will do an automatic debit to the account up have set up to use. If this is not what you want to do then you will need to log on and fill out the giving form each time you give.
We are using "EasyTithe" a part of Ministry Brands as our portal to give. This is a safe option for giving and can be set up as a one time or recurring gift.
There is the option to set up and account and then it will be easier to use in the future.
This service does charge the church a fee for each transaction. You can used CREDIT and DEBT cards or ACH which is a draft from you bank account.
